Hi, I'm Emily. I post on NIN.com (and lurk ETS on and off) under the same username. Hi!

For the curious: I'm an undergrad in linguistics. I am skilled in such useless languages as Latin and Old English, can speak rudimentary Chinese, and know barely enough Turkish to get around. Phonology is really cool to me, and in a sort of tangential relation, I try to fill requests for transcriptions of NIN-related interviews, speeches, etc. If you post in the questions thread on either NIN .com or ETS, I'll see it and try to get on it ASAP.
